slider.js and internet explorer

Reported by akil | June 19th, 2008 @ 05:41 PM | in 1.8.3 bugfix release

for some reason the slider control is not working correctly for me in internet explorer. it seems that it is calculating the length of the track to be 0. this is in ie6 and ie7. i made a temporary fix by adding a length option and reading that for this.trackLength but i still have to subtract 20-25 pixels from that value to have it match up with length in firefox. though on your demo slider page it seems to work fine on the slider with three handles, the slider with one handle is giving a javascript error though.
