Sortable.create on table using handle throws error in IE 7 / 8

Reported by subimage | December 5th, 2009 @ 09:37 AM

Came across this one this evening.

It looks as if you can use Sortable.create on an entire TR and it works just fine.

However, if you use the 'handle' property while creating a Sortable, and assign that CSS class to a TD in the row, IE throws an error on line 3583 of prototype.js

The same code runs perfectly in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

I've included a simple test HTML package that illustrates the problem.

Any ideas on fixes would be appreciated.
