Effect.Move stops animating when new DOM elements are created

Reported by Dat Nguyen | July 21st, 2009 @ 01:02 AM

I use Effect.Move to move many DOM elements simultaneously. However, whenever another element is created in the document while another element is being moved, the moving element stops in its tracks before the destination is reached. This happens on all browsers I've tested, IE, Firefox, and Chrome.

It should be noted that the new element is created with innerHTML, and all the elements have the same parent.

Well, I seemed to have solved my own problem. I tried adding DOM elements with createElement instead of innerHTML and everything works!
