Effect.Morph and "em"

Reported by sillyxone | January 27th, 2009 @ 06:06 PM

Firefox 3.0.5, Scriptaculous 1.8.2

a DIV's height is defined in EM, but Prototype.getStyle() return the height in PX. Effect.Morph doesn't check if the units are the same.

Thus, for example, if a DIV is defined at 30em, and the final height is 40em, Morph would receive "400px" by getStyle(), then starts morphing from 400em down to 40em.

I think we should first convert all the lengths to px, or check that the units are the same.
