Firefox Sortable Ghosting

Reported by Matt Wells | January 14th, 2009 @ 06:12 PM

I have created a table that I have added Sortable too. When you move a row around the padding around them expands and does not go back. I am using Firefox/3.0.5 (Gecko/2008120122), script.aculo.us v1.8.2 and Prototype This problem is only there when Ghosting is enabled it also does not affect IE7.0.5730.13.

I have attached a screenshot of the problem, you can see the top 5 rows have different amounts of padding on them after you have moved a row around.

The code I used to create it is below:

Event.observe(window, 'load', function() { Sortable.create('sortable', {

tag: 'tr',
hoverclass: 'hover',
ghosting: true,
onUpdate: function() {
  new Ajax.Request('projects_order_handler.php', {
    method: 'post',
    parameters: {
      data: Sortable.serialize('sortable')

}); });
