Effect.Move removes overflow:hidden in IE

Reported by deano1267 | December 27th, 2008 @ 09:12 PM

I have a really simple site that has a little slideshow, which is just a fixed size box with the overflow set to hidden and has images moving behind it with Effect.Move. In Safari and Firefox it works great, images slide in one at a time and the rest remain hidden. On IE (6 and 7), as soon as the Effect.Move runs, the overflow:hidden gets removed (or overridden maybe), and you can see all of the images behind the fixed size box that were previously hidden. I've tried setting overflow:hidden with the style attribute and CSS, and I've also tried wrapping the box with another box, and all seem to be producing the same results.
