Reported by seb (at mapeed) | July 27th, 2009 @ 07:02 PM

I just try latest version on IE8 and got an error when I include prototype.
In fact it's not prototype fault but IE8!

    I'm running IE 8.0.6001.18702 on XP SP2 and tests run fine with some minor errors (latest master branch).
    Could you tell us precisely which version of IE8 you're getting trouble with?

    BTW, my IE8 won't open attached file complaining about bad DTD, did you intend to add an XML preamble ?

    it works for me too, IE8 same version of your.

    window.Event.foo = function(){}

    does not produce any error on IE8 and the extended property/method is available.

    looks like I had a old beta IE8 installed on my virtual machine, with the same IE8 (8.0.6001.18702 on XP SP2) it works.
