#457 enhancement

Element.next() doesn't work for floating trees

Reported by Przemek | November 21st, 2008 @ 01:09 AM | in 2.0

The implementation of Element.next() has a dependence on the $$() function when a selector is specified. This means it only works for elements in trees rooted at the browser's document object.

For elements in a floating tree (in a local variable or some such), attempting to use a selector with next simply returns undefined.

I'm not really sure if this is a bug or an enhancement but it implies a serious loss of functionality. There may be other sibling selectors affected as the $$() dependeny is a result of using Selector.findElement().
