error: handler.call(element, event);

Reported by Anton Kudris | November 1st, 2008 @ 02:22 PM

i'm developing web interface for my company's product and there is a strange bug. Somewhere in 1.6.0.x an error "handler is undefined handler.call(element, event);" on line 3970 (that's for the latest prototype from git). That's in FF3

so, error is here

3964 var wrapper = function(event) { 3965 if (!Event || !Event.extend || 3966 (event.eventName && event.eventName != eventName)) 3967 return false; 3968 3969 Event.extend(event);

3970 handler.call(element, event); 3971 };

Opera also write "message: Statement on line 3970: Cannot convert undefined or null to Object"

the thing that i don't understand at all - is why this error happens only sometimes (quite often - about 80-90% of page reload)

I can't see if this error break any functionality thought

what should I do about it?
