IE throws error c00ce514 while trying to send out a Ajax request to get an image.
It only happens in IE. It seems it's an encoding problem, and it happens when prototype trying to evaluate responseText (String.interpret(d.responseText)) property.

If I'm not mistaken you cannot handle binary files with the underlying XML-HTTP-REQUEST object that powers the Ajax library. As it's name implies, it's meant to handle XML files only, though it will accept any text file - JSON takes advantage of this.

    Read over this.

If I'm correct this isn't something correctable in the framework.
