setOpacity on a textarea resets its value in WebKit

Reported by Fabien Ménager | April 28th, 2010 @ 05:15 PM

Setting opacity to 1 to a textarea resets its value to the initial value (the inner value when the page was loaded).

This is because of the hack made in the WebKit's specific setOpacity method which appends and removes a text node.

Without this hack, this works in Chrome (no bug and the opacity is well set). This may also work in recent versions of Safari.
