scriptaculous disabled by Norton/Symantec firewall

Is there any explanation as to why the Norton firewall might be disabling scriptaculous?

Norton Internet Security injects its own JavaScript into every webpage you view, which (iirc) swallows up errors and interferes with other stuff in the browser.
Normally, I'd classify this kind of software as malware.
There might also be other, specific reasons bad things happen for the specific site you're working with. Do you have a URL for this?

Creating a bug report
When creating a bug report, be sure to include as much relevant information as possible. Post a an example that shows off the problem. Preferably, alter the unit tests and show through either changed or added tests how the expected behavior is not occuring.
