Before you submit a bug, ask yourself:

Is there an error generated?

If so, include the text of the error. If not (something fails silently, or produces an unexpected result), state what you expected to happen and what actually happened.

Can you reproduce the issue?

If so, write a test case! Start removing markup and third-party scripts from the page. Reduce it to the smallest possible page that reproduces the error. Then upload the test page somewhere and post the URL in the ticket.

Some bugs aren't complex enough to require test cases. Still, make sure your description is detailed enough that we can reproduce the error.

Which browsers?

Tell us which platform you're on (e.g., IE6, IE7, Firefox 2, Safari 3.1). If the problem occurs in only certain browsers, it's often easier to get to the bottom of.
